How to Order
To take advantage of our three-for-the-price-of-two "special deal," simply add three items to your cart.  When you reach the checkout screen, the least expensive of the three items will be automatically deducted from your total.  To receive your "third" free item, be sure to add it to your cart before you check out.  You will have the opportunity to verify that its cost has been deducted before you transmit (confirm) your order. 

If you order six items, the cost of the two least expensive items will be deducted from your total -- and so forth. 


Our Return Policy


You may return any item within 30 days of shipment for refund or credit. Please use insured mail or UPS in order to confirm receipt. We do not refund postage.

In case of our "Brain" book, consider that a $30 Merchandise Certificate is bound into the book on page 444. Use it and the book is FREE!

We do not require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Simply return your item to us with a brief note and a copy of your invoice.  Our address is 470 Third Street, Suite 211, San Francisco, CA 94107. 

NOTE:  If you received a "free" item under our "3-for-the-price-of-2" special deal and if you return one or two items, no free item will apply and the retained item(s) will be charged at its/their normal price.  


Our Shipping and Tax Policy


Standard shipping charges:

These charges apply to orders of up to six items.

Books: $4.95 for one, $9.90 for two or more
Regular Merchandise: $6.95 for one, $9.90 for two or more
Heavy Merchandise (Adm. Farragut's Telescope, JomiraZoom Binoculars): $6.95 for one, $12.95 for two or more

If you place a "mixed" order of different items, only one shipping charge will apply.  For example, if you order two telescopes, two watches, and two books, we will only assess the shipping charge for the heaviest product (the telescopes) and your total shipping charge would be only $12.95.

Sales tax is charged on orders with California delivery.

Large Orders and International Shipping

If you are purchasing more than six items or if you are placing an order for shipment outside of the United States, please contact us by e-mail for a shipping quote.  Please let us know your country and the quantity of each item you wish to order, so that we can provide a custom shipping quote for you.  You may also phone us for a shipping quote at 800-600-2777 between 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (California Time).
